We are pleased to announce that Savoir Fare Catering has joined forces with Specialties Showroom, Oakland County's premier upscale kitchen appliance showroom. As part of this new venture, we will be offering “Dinner Made Easy” for pick-up or delivery with three course meals starting from $16.95 per person. Beginning in the fall,we will also be teaching cooking classes, giving demonstrations as part of cooking -themed showers and couples events, as well as offering corporate team building events based on "mystery food basket" challenges. If you are looking for a unique location for special occasion events, Specialties Showroom has the capacity to seat up to 50 people or can easily hold over 100 people for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in their kitchen vignettes, and has hosted many private as well as charitable events. We couldn't be more excited with the new possibilities this alliance will provide, and hope that you will join me for all the fun! of experience in food preparation, we provide excitingly delicious

menus as some other caterers do. The only thing you can consistently

of "culinary meccas". To that end, personal visits to
restaurants in Los Angeles, Napa Valley, Las Vegas, Chicago, and
New York help to develop our menus from the food experienced there,
as well as the rapport enjoyed with the chefs cooking at these
establishments.
This concept has served us well. We have developed a reputation
as the "go to" caterer for Neiman Marcus' special events
and public relations luncheons, as well as working for Tiffany
and Ralph Lauren on their charity events and in-store promotions.
We also enjoy a collaborative relationship with some of the area's
premier event planners.
We cater to both business and private clients. Our focus is on
delicious, innovative foods --presented with panache. We are a
full service catering company that can handle all the time consuming
details from menu creation, rentals and staffing to valet parking,
flowers and "atmosphere". Our philosophy is that when
you are in a service-based business, it is imperative to provide
superior service. We go to great lengths to make certain that
no details are overlooked. We are also proud to say that we have
a loyal core of staff members who take the time to get to know
each client and develop a bond that makes the whole process extremely

About Charles Keeps
Charles Keeps, owner and creative director of Savoir Fare Catering
in Southfield, Michigan, began cooking as a reaction to his mother's
edict "don't play with your food". He has not stopped
playing since he first began catering while attending the University
of Michigan. Brief stints in New York and California reinforced
his desire to work in the food service industry. Charles gained
a great deal of practical experience while working at Peter's
Palate Pleaser in Bloomfield Hills. Since opening his own business
in 1997, Charles has been able to share his distinctive food philosophy
with many loyal clients. His commitment to excellence in taste
and presentation, as well as his continuing quest to innovate
makes Charles' cuisine stand above the rest.
